The members of the 178th ASHC operated and maintained the Boeing Vertol CH-47 Chinook medium lift
helicopter in the Republic of Vietnam from 1966 until 1972. This site is dedicated to the men who served
in the Boxcars and especially those who lost their lives in service their country.
